Is it necessary for girls to put make-up?

  • see im a good lookin gal and i like to wear feminine clothes
    but i just cant stand make-up..........i mean i just hate it like hell
    and my mom and frnds keep forcing me 2 put kajal etc. and look attractive wen i dont want 2
    wat shall i do??
    plzz help!!


  • It's not necessary to put on makeup, people just choose to. I'm in the same position as you in a way, except I'm not 'forced' to put on makeup. Just tell her your don't want that gunk on your face. :P


  • personally, i thinkk make-up brings out the beauty in most girls. but if you don't want to wear make-up then just tell your mom ! she cant force you to put it on...

  • In some countries, its considered "good manners" to use basic make up to cover blemishes this is especially used in job interviews.

    However if your face is pretty, there's no need to put on excess makeup or no makeup at all. But personally i feel makeup is a fun tool that you can use to add more fun to your outfit. Well that's just one person's opinion.

    and feminine clothes are the best

  • It's a personal choice, some girls (like me) just like the idea of make-up... I think it's an amazing invention. Some girls use it as a cover-up on things they don't like on their face, but I just think it looks hot! You can do so many cool things with it, but that's just my opinion. Like I said, it all comes down to personal choice.

    Don't let other people force you to wear it if you don't want to. Nothing is wrong with moisturising and cleansing here and there, it will just make your skin more beautiful so they won't think you HAVE to wear make-up!


  • coming from a guy i hate gals with make up and perfumes cant stand the smell love the fresh smell of a gal dont ever use makeup if u dont hats off if u do u are bowing to peer and parent pressure

    Tell your mom and friends that. If you don't like make-up no one can force you to wear it. It's your choice. It's your face, and you can choose what u put on it. Just tell them how you feel, and they'll understand! If that doesn't work you can always be stubborn...LOL

    But just tell them u don't like make up and not to force you to put it on.



  • make-up is sometimes more psycological than anything anyway sometimes. You could probably find a light type of make-up that suits you without making you feel like you're wearng heaps but gives an illusion?

    But if you're naturally pretty then you should totally not worry :) Remember there is always eyelash and brow tinting which is fun and kinda looks like eye make-up. Or fake tan...


  • People apply make -up to look good for the others, so that they find them attractive.If you don't want to see yourself from somebody else's eyes then it is upto you to apply make-up or not.YOu have to feel beautiful from within which no make-up can do.It beautifies you only externally.


  • No it is not necessary but, a lot of people do because it makes them look a little different. In my case very exotic.

  • belve in yourself... do what you like but putting a kajal is no harm... sometimes change is better than usual things atleast you can try once in a while
