DVD player problem in XBMC 2.0.1

  • I have a problem with the dvd player. It does not show the highlights on the dvd menu's, so you will not be able to see which button you choose. I had this also in a version from some weeks back, but when i changed too 2.0.0 everything was ok again.

    Please help me out with this one...

  • It's not impossible that it happens. Should only be some dvd's thou. I have new code that should limit times when this happens in the works, will go in to svn soon, sadly nothing you can do about it in 2.0.1.


  • 8t88, I had the same problem. Something in my UserData folder made it do this. I installed a new version with my own UserData folder but still had the problem. Then I moved over the files and xml's I needed and then it worked as supposed to. You can try to do the same

  • sounds like something I could have done too since I have progressive plasma


  • Figured out the problem!!! I had turned on De-Interlaced in the viodeo menu, after that i have menu/subtitle problems. After switching De-Interlaced off all works well!!! :nod:


  • that is very odd.. so it was set to deinterlace? not wave or bob?


  • im seeing the menu overlays on iso's.


  • Yep, it had chosen De-Interlaced for playing DVD's through my beamer (it looked the best that way)
